TNEA 2023 Counselling Registration: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Tamil Nadu, will soon open the TNEA Counselling 2023 registration window. The registration window is expected to open today, May 5 and will likely remain open for a month until Jun 4. Students who wish to participate in the counselling process must complete the TNEA 2023 Counselling Registration process through the official website: tneaonline.org
The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling is a Unified Single Window Admission System for admissions to engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. There will be no state-level entrance exam for admission. Instead, the seats will be allotted based on the marks scored by the candidates in class 12.

Steps to Complete TNEA 2023 Counselling Registration Process
The TNEA 2023 Counselling Registration process is given below:
- Visit the official website of the TNEA: tneaonline.org
- The link for the registration for the TNEA counselling 2023 will be displayed
- Click on the link and complete the registration process
- Candidates can then login to the candidate portal using their credentials
- Fill out the 7-part online application form
- Make the payment of the application fee
- Finally, download the application form and take a printout of it for further use
TNEA 2023 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualification criteria for eligibility for TNEA 2023 Counselling are given below:
- The applicant must have passed the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 45% marks. The criterion is relaxed for the reserved category candidates to 40%.
- The TN board or any equivalent board must have completed the qualifying exam.
- They must have completed any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) with one of the Engineering-related subjects - Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
- The seat allotment will be based on the marks scored by the candidate in the relevant subjects. The marks scored by the candidate will be scaled in 200 (Maths – 100, Physics – 50 and Chemistry – 50).
