TS EAMCET 2022: Modified Ranking System and Eligibility Criteria
TSCHE has eased the admission requirements and eligibility criteria for TS EAMCET 2022. Check out the revised criteria to apply.
Last year, the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) had waived the +2 intermediate results as an admission parameter for applicants. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) continues to nullify class 12 results as a criterion for admission of students to any of the state’s colleges for the applicable courses. TS EAMCET 2022 marks will be the only determining factor for admission.
Overview of TS EAMCET 2022
The entrance exam is for admissions to professional courses which include :
- B.E.
- B.Tech
- B Pharmacy
- B.Sc (Hons)
- B.VSc & amp
- A.H.
- B.FSc
- PharmaD
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad is conducting the test on behalf of the state. The application form is available online till May 28, 2022. However, JNTU will accept the applications till July 7, 2022, with an additional late fee. July 14 and 15, 2022, are the allotted dates for the agriculture and medical entrance tests. At the same time, the engineering exam will be held on July 18, 19, and 20 over 2 shifts. The first shift is between 9 am to 12 noon and the second between 3 pm and 6 pm.

Eligibility Criteria
Earlier, the applicants required a minimum aggregate score of 45% in +2 exams to apply for TS EAMCET. Additionally, a 25% emphasis was given to the results of these exams. However, in 2021, TSCHE withdrew this criterion. Thereby making it easier for students. Therefore, the performance in TS EAMCET would be the only determinant for the admission of any student.
