TS EAMCET 2022 Weightage for Intermediate Marks Scrapped
TSCHE has decided to waive the weightage of 25 per cent for intermediate marks for the calculation of TS EAMCET 2022 ranks.
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has decided to waive the weightage of 25 percent for intermediate marks to calculate TS EAMCET 2022 ranks. Officials will prepare the Telangana EAMCET 2022 rank list based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam.
The official notice of TSCHE reads, “The TS EAMCET 2022 ranks will be allotted purely based on the performance (normalized marks) in the TS EAMCET-2022 examination and the 25% weightage for Intermediate marks in the calculation of TS EAMCET-2022 ranks has been waived off as a special case for the academic year 2022-23 similar to the TS EAMCET-2021.”

Authorities have decided to relax the TS EAMCET 2022 eligibility criteria considering the ongoing COVID-19 situation in the country. Due to the same reason, authorities provided the same provision to candidates last year.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, started the TS EAMCET application form filling process. Applicants willing to apply for the participating institutions in Telangana can fill out the TS EAMCET 2022 registration form by 28 May (without paying a late fee). Officials will conduct the TS EAMCET 2022 exam as a computer-based test for engineering courses on 18, 19, and 20 July. Also, candidates who will qualify for the entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process. Thus, authorities have released the list of institutions for allotment of candidates with intake in each discipline and category, as per reservations through the TS EAMCET 2022 exam.
