UGC NET December 2022 Application Correction Window Closes Today at ugcnet.nta.nic.in

UGC NET December 2022 Application Correction: The National Testing Agency(NTA) will close the window for UGC NET Dec 2022 Application Correction today, Jan 20. Candidates who wish to make corrections to their application forms can do so till 11:50 PM today. UGC had earlier announced the change in age criteria for eligibility by changing the date from Feb 1 2023, to Dec 1 2022. Therefore, candidates who have only applied for assistant professorship will be allowed to modify the "Apply for" field in the application form. Furthermore, corrections can be made to the 'apply for, category, Qualification, Pwd, Research & Ex-Serviceman'.

As per the official notification, candidates who have linked their Aadhar cards will only be allowed to edit either their Mother's or Father's names(only one). As for candidates who have not linked their Aadhar card, they can edit the one out of the candidate's name, mother's name and father's name. However, in both cases, Mobile Number, Email Address, Permanent Address & Correspondence Address, candidate's gender and DoB, and photo will not be editable.

Candidates will have to pay an additional fee (wherever applicable ) to make the changes. They can pay the fee in their preferred payment method- Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking and UPI.
