UGC NET Exams Phase 2 Postponed, to Begin from This Date
The UGC announced that it had postponed the UGC NET Phase 2 Exams. The revised dates for the exams are 20 to 30 September.
UGC NET Exams: The University grants commission(UGC) on Monday announced that it had postponed the UGC National eligibility test(NET) Phase 2 Exams. The revised UGC NET Exams date are 20 to 30 September, said the UGC chairman in a tweet.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the first phase of the UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) examination on July 9, 11, and 12, 2022, for 33 subjects. The second phase was scheduled for 12, 13, and 14 August 2022. However, the final phase examination of UGC-NET is now scheduled to be conducted between 20 and 30 September 2022, involving 64 subjects.
Candidates will be able to see the city of the examination centre on the NTA Website from 11 September. Moreover, the UGC NET admit cards will be available to download from 16 September. The candidate will have to log in using their registration number and date of birth on the NTA examination portal: ugcnet.nta.nic.in
In the tweet by the UGC chairman, he advised candidates not to trust fake notices being circulated on social media. He insisted that candidates rely only on the official website for exam information. Furthermore, if the candidates have any queries regarding the exam, they can write to: ugcnet@nta.ac.in.
Steps to Download UGC NET Phase 2 Admit Card
Once the UGC NET admit card is out, candidates may follow these steps to download it:
- First, visit the NTA examination portal of the UGC NET: ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- Then scroll down to find the link to download the admit card under the candidate activity section.
- Once on the redirected page, enter the login credentials, i.e., application number, date of birth, and the security pin. Then click on ‘Submit’.
- The screen will display the UGC NET admit card.
- Finally, download the admit card and take a printout for future use.
