The Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture & Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) is an annual state-level admission test. The entrance test is for those seeking admission to the participating universities’ Agriculture and Technology related courses. The Banda University will organize the UPCATET 2022. UPCATET 2022: Important Dates & Events

Admission Process: Results & Cutoff
The candidates seeking admission to the participating institutes must focus on giving their best at the UPCATET 2022. The seats are allotted based on the merit list prepared after the entrance test. Be that as it may, students must also check the eligibility criteria and clear the counseling for guaranteed admission. In addition, here are the basic steps the authorities follow in granting a seat to an applicant.
- Students must duly submit their applications within the stipulated due date.
- Candidates must pass the exam and secure a competitive rank at the UPCATET.
- They must hold a valid admit card and carry it for the examination.
- Finally, they must clear the counseling round after checking the merit list to get a seat at their desired institute.
After the results are announced, students who have secured a competitive rank will be invited for a counseling round. After their counseling session, only will they be allotted a seat. Additionally, here are brief details on the counseling procedure.
- Firstly, you must pay the registration fee upon receiving your invitation for counseling.
- Then proceed to submit the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Next, move on to selecting your preferred venue for counseling.
- After your session, you are qualified to acquire a seat at the university.
- Lastly, pay the security deposit and report to the institute on the specified date.
Furthermore, the authorities have not officially announced the cutoff for UPCATET 2022. Albeit, reports suggest that the minimum requirement for general category applicants is 20%. On the other hand, for the reserved categories, it is 10%. Nonetheless, the authorities will confirm the exact cutoff when they announce the results.
