UPESMET Phase 9 Exam 2022 Starts Today – Do’s and Don’ts for Exam Day

UPESMET Phase 9 Exam 2022: University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, Uttrakhand, is conducting the UPESMET Phase 9 exam 2022 today, 20 August 2022. The last date to register for the exam was 19 August 2022. The UPSEMET 2022 exam result will be declared in the form of a rank card a week after the exam on the official website, i.e., www.upes.ac.in.
The authorities will conduct the exam through the Online Proctored Mode. Therefore the candidates must be aware of all the rules and regulations. The candidate who does not follow the rule will be disqualified from the UPESMET examination. The exam duration is 2 hours, and the total number of questions asked in the paper is 140. The paper will be divided into 4 parts. While the total marks for the exam are 140 marks. Also, there is no negative marking.

UPESMET Phase 9 Exam 2022 Basic Requirements
Below mentioned are some of the basic requirements that the candidate needs to fulfill to appear for the UPESMET Phase 9 exam 2022 –
- The laptop/ desktop should be adequately operational.
- The operating system should be Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.
- The device should be connected to a broadband (wired or wireless) – Uninterrupted internet connection.
- Ensure the device is connected to a UPS or any power supply.
- Also, make sure you have a well-connected microphone with speakers or wireless Bluetooth.
- The webcam should be of HD quality or with a clear vision. HD Camcorder or HD Cam with the video capture card.
- Log in through Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for the exam only.
Things to Do on the Day of UPESMET Phase 9 Exam 2022
Below mentioned are the things to do on the day of the UPESMET Phase 9 exam 2022 –
- Appearing candidates will receive the login link in advance. They must log in a minimum of 1 hour before the scheduled exam time.
- After login, candidates must mark their presence with the photo id card.
- The candidate must keep the webcam/video recorder and the microphone/ Bluetooth speakers on throughout the exam.
- The webcam should be appropriately placed with a wholesome view of the room and a clear view of the candidate . the invigilator should be able to see the candidates.
- The sitting area or the desk should be clean. There should not be any books or study material.
- Candidates must read through the questions carefully before answering. And if candidates complete the exam before 2 hours, they should revise the answers. The candidate must sit in their seats until the end of the exam.
- During the exam, candidates must immediately contact the invigilator if there is any power cut or loss of internet connection. Also, for any technical hardships, the candidate must contact the invigilator or the authorities for assistance. If not, the exam may stand disqualified.
Things Not to Do on the Day of UPESMET Phase 9 Exam 2022
Below mentioned are the things not to do on the day of the UPESMET Phase 9 exam 2022 –
- The candidate must be seated alone in the room While appearing for the UPESMET 2022 exam. There should be no one in the room apart from the candidate.
- Candidate must avoid connecting through the mobile internet hotspot. It is unstable and has a high chance of disconnection, which may lead to disqualification.
- No electronic gadgets are allowed during the exam except for the laptop/desktop. Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, electronic calculators or even other books, notes or study materials are not allowed.
- Only speakers are allowed during the exam. Do not use headphones or earphones for the exam.
- Candidates must remain seated throughout the exam duration. Even if they complete the paper early, they are not allowed to leave the room.
- Candidates must not be involved in any cheating or malpractice. If caught, the examination will directly be disqualified, and the candidature will be cancelled immediately.
