UPMSP Updates Pattern for Class 12 Board Exams 2022
UPMSP officials have announced several updates in regards to the 2021-22 Uttar Pradesh class 12 board examination pattern.
UPMSP authorities have announced several updates in regards to the UP class 12 board examinations. Henceforth, Uttar Pradesh 12th class assessments will feature a new examination pattern. Assessments will feature two sections separated by question formatting from the 2021-2022 academic year. Firstly, section A will have 20 objective and multiple-choice questions worth one point each. Meanwhile, section B will feature both short-answer and long-answer descriptive questions worth fifty marks in total. Thus, the board exam will have a total score of 70 points, with a duration of three hours and 15 minutes.
In addition, the board has stated that the 30 per cent syllabus cut which took place in 2020 will continue for this academic session. The state had reduced the number of assessment topics due to COVID-19 constraints. Notably, this announcement also contains the first publication of class 9 and 11 examination patterns. Generally, boards do not publish official exam patterns for classes 9 and 11 due to the major board exams occurring in 10th and 12th standards.
UPMSP Assessment Pattern Updates
Earlier, UPMSP announced this year’s assessment format amid the pandemic. According to the official notification, there will be continual evaluations through monthly assessments and internal assignments. Consequently, schools must share scores from these tests regularly with the board through an official portal.
Furthermore, there will be three main internal exams for classes 9 and 10 in the months of August, October and January. Afterwards, pre-boards will take place during February 2022. Meanwhile, practical assessments such as labs will occur in two separate phases in January 2022. Currently, a class 9 mock examination is available on the board’s official website. In addition, officials will publish model papers for the other standards online shortly.
