UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022: Candidates Who Qualified the Mains Should Submit DAF 2 Starting Today
UPSC will release the Detailed Application Form (DAF) II for candidates who qualifies the UPSC CSE Mains 2022 today, Dec 8. Candidates must submit the DAF II form between Dec 8 and 6 PM on Dec 14.
UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the Detailed Application Form (DAF) II for candidates who qualifies the UPSC CSE Mains 2022 today, Dec 8. Candidates must submit the DAF II form between Dec 8 and 6 PM on Dec 14. It is compulsory for all candidates who qualified the mains exam to fill out this form. If they fail to submit the form, their candidature in UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 will be cancelled.
Candidates will only be able to proceed to the following stages after the DAF II form has been submitted. The next stage for the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 is the personal interviews, the dates for which will be announced in due course of time. On the day the personal interviews commence, candidates must fill up the Attestation Form online on the Department of Personnel & Training website. They will be able to do so till the last day of PIs.

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022: Points to Note for DAF II
The following are some important points candidates must note while filling out the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 DAF II.
- Once the DAF II form has been submitted, the UPSC will not allow any changes or modifications to the DAF I & II forms. However, candidates can only notify the authorities about address/contact details changes. They must inform the authorities immediately through letter, email (csmupsc@nic.in), or Fax at numbers indicated in the official notification.
- While filling out the DAF II form, candidates must enter their preference for the service they would like to be assigned. If the candidate is selected for the service allocation, they will be assigned the service based on the preferences entered by them. Importantly, candidates will not be allowed to edit their preferences once they have been submitted.
- If a candidate applies for the IAS or IPS positions, they will have to enter their preferences for various zones and cadres as well.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be required to upload their supporting documents along with the DAF II form.
The UPSC released the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022 Mains Result on Dec 6. The candidate's mark list will be released within 15 days after releasing the result.
