Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has activated the link to change exam centre for UPSC IAS Prelims 2022. The exam is scheduled to be held on 5 June 2022. Therefore, candidates interested in changing their exam centre can do so by visiting the official website. The exam centre change facility will be open from 10 March 2022 to 14 March 2022 (till 6:00PM).

Steps To Change UPSC IAS 2022 Exam Centre

Authorities have activated the link to change exam centre for UPSC IAS Prelims exam. Therefore, applicants interested in changing their exam centre must follow the steps given below.

• Visit the official website for UPSC IAS – upsconline.nic.in
• Now click on ‘Click here’ under the ‘To Change of Centre’ column.
• A new page with instructions will open on your screen. Read all guidelines carefully and click on ‘Yes’.
• Now enter your registration ID and captcha, and click on ‘submit’.
• After successfully logging in, you will receive an OTP on your registered email ID. Enter the OTP and click on ‘Next’.
• Finally, make the modifications in exam centre choice.
• Download exam change confirmation for future reference.

UPSC IAS Important Dates

Candidates must go through the important dates for UPSC IAS 2022 given below.

The candidates who are not interested in changing their exam centres don’t need to log in or make any changes. The exam centre filled by them at the time of registration will be the first choice. According to the official notification, the allocation of centres will be done on ‘first-apply-first-allot’ policy. Therefore, applicants must change their centres soon and not wait for the deadline.
