VITEEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Courses Announced Online
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has released the VITEEE 2022 eligibility criteria on the official website, viteee.vit.ac.in.
VITEEE Eligibility criteria consist of the conditions set for the candidates to be eligible for the final admission. Recently, the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has released the VITEEE 2022 eligibility criteria at viteee.vit.ac.in. - Nationality: Indian Resident/Non-resident, Nationals/PIO can apply. Foreign applicants are eligible under the “Foreign” category.
- Age limit: Candidates should be born on or after July 1, 2000.
- Educational qualification: Applicants should have passed class 12 or equivalent examination. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible for SRMJEEE 2022.
- Marks in qualifying examination:
Candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 60% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology in the qualifying exam. The minimum percentage marks for SC/ST candidates, those belonging to Jammu and Kashmir/Ladakh and the North-Eastern states, is 50%.
Moreover, the application form is available on the official web portal. However, applicants are expected to submit their VIT registration form before the deadline. Furthermore, officials have not yet announced the VITEEE assessment date. They will conduct the VITEEE, an online exam of 2 hours 30 minutes with 125 multiple choice questions spread over the five sections, mathematics, physics, chemistry, aptitude and English. VIT Vellore conducts this exam for admission to B.Tech courses offered by the various campuses of the institute. Additionally, for NRI participants applying for VITEEE, English is mandatory as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination.
