West Bengal HS Exam 2022: Dates Likely to Be Modified to Avoid Clashing with JEE Mains
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is considering revising the West Bengal HS exam schedule.
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is considering postponing the West Bengal HS exam schedule. The Council is considering this because of the JEE Main 2022 exam dates. As per the earlier notice, WBBSE was planning to conduct West Bengal HS exams 2022 from 2 April to 20 April 2022. At the same time, WBBSE class 10 exams will commence on 7 March 2022.
WBCHSE president Chiranjib Bhattacharya told the Press Trust of India (PTI) that many class 12 students appear for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). As the NTA released the JEE Main timetable, students are requesting to delay the same since there is no gap between the national level JEE exam and class 10, 12 exams. Henceforth, the committee is considering altering the board exam dates.
The Department of Pre-University Education Karnataka has released the modified Karnataka 2nd PUC date sheet for the April-May exams 2022 since the dates were clashing with JEE Main 2022 exam. The committee has also requested the students to file their objections on the tentative Karnataka 2nd Pre-University Education (PUC) date sheet by 5 March 2022.
Apart from the Karnataka Board, the Telangana board has also delayed the planned second-year examinations after the timetable coincided with the first session of the JEE Main 2022.
