Important Points Regarding WBJEE Counselling 2023
Candidates can refer to some of the important points mentioned below for the counselling procedure.
- WBJEE 2023 counselling will consider the institutes and courses mentioned in the approved Seat Matrix by the Competent Authority (DTE, Govt. of WB).
- Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have obtained a rank (GMR/PMR) in the WBJEE-2023 and/or JEE(Main)-2023 exams are eligible to register for counselling.
- The counselling process will consist of three rounds: Allotment, Upgradation, and Mop-Up.
- Registration is mandatory for counselling and securing a seat allotment. Candidates who fail to register will not be considered for seat allotment in any round.
- The Board will not convert any vacant seat from a reserved category (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD) to the general/unreserved category in any round of counselling.
- According to AICTE guidelines, vacant seats under the TFW category will not be converted to the general/unreserved category.
- The registration fee for Round-1 WBJEE counselling 2023 is Rs. 500 (non-refundable). The same fee is for the Mop-up round as well.
