West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) officials have declared WB HSC results for 2021 today at 3 PM. During a press conference, government and school officials gathered to announce pertinent information regarding the release of the West Bengal class 12 marks. Afterward, scores became available online to the public at 4 PM today, 22 July 2021.
In 2021, 8,19,202 class 12 students have been waiting for the West Bengal class 12 board results. Currently, 97.69 percent of the student body has obtained passing marks. However, this year, the West Bengal board cancelled their HSC examinations due to COVID-19 constraints. Thus, board authorities have formed an alternative evaluation mechanism using past academic performance and internal assessments. The new evaluation criteria is as follows:
- Forty percent of the marks are from the candidate’s top four subject scores in the 2019 Madhyamik exams.
- Sixty percent of the results arise from performance in the 2020 class 11 theory examinations.
- Separate scores were given to the project and practical.
How to Check West Bengal HSC Results
Hence, WB class 12 students can now check their West Bengal HSC results on the official websites (wbchse.nic.in and wbresults.nic.in). However, candidates must first enter their registration number to view the marks. Alternatively, students can also view their marks on the following third-party websites.
