UPSC Interview Marks
Every year Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the UPSC Civil Services Examination for candidates willing to qualify for Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
The total UPSC Interview Marks is 275. And the qualifying marks for the UPSC interview are expected to be around 700-800. A candidate must score a minimum of 700-800 marks in the USPC exam.
The final marks are calculated by adding the interview marks in UPSC and the marks obtained in the UPSC Mains examination.
Marks Required to Qualify for IAS Interview
There are multiple positions aspirants want to pursue through UPSC CSE, such as IAS, IRS, IFS, IPS and more. The Union Public Service Commission conducts the Civil Service Examination for aspirants who wish to qualify for one of these positions.
As per the analysis of the previous years' data, for the General category candidates, 86+ in Prelims, 740+ in Mains and 955+ marks in Finals would be considered safe to qualify for the IAS Interview.
