Completion of a specified e-learning course or module, undergraduate course(s), or other appropriate requirements may be part of this additional preparation.
- Experience in the sector, while not required, will be considered favorably.

- Applicants whose first language is not English must fulfill the minimum English language proficiency as determined by the UWaterloo graduate Faculty of Arts requirements.

Alternative admission requirements:
A limited number of mature students who do not meet the regular academic entry requirements of a four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent may be granted alternative admission by PACS. Standardized graduate entrance exams are not equally accessible and appropriate as the basis for admission.
