Algoma University started off as Algoma College in 1965 and is affiliated with Laurentian University in Sudbury. It was granted its charter to operate as a fully autonomous university in 2008 and thus went on to become the 19th university in Ontario, Canada. Algoma University aims at providing excellent education and a robust curriculum to its students.
