The Newman Theological College (NTC) was founded in 1969 by the Act of the Alberta Legislature. It was initially set up as a theological faculty at the Oblate Immaculate Conception Scholasticate in St. Joachim’s Parish, Edmonton in 1917. NTC is sensitive to diversity and has students and professors from other Christian churches and also offers courses in some of these traditions.
