Ryerson University was founded in 1948 and started as a post-secondary center, combining technical and academic education in areas such as architecture, photography, costume design, and more. In 1963, it was renamed Ryerson University Polytechnic to symbolize the growing number of programs and courses. In 1993, they finally got Statue University.
Ryerson University has a registration of 663 international applicants in its undergraduate programs and It offers more than 130 programs at undergraduate and graduate levels. The university also offers a number of certificates, diplomas, and further education programs
Ryerson University offers around 62 full-time programs and a part-time model at the undergraduate level. In terms of the selection process, there are two types of student degree programs: Grades-Only and Graduate. Grades-Plus programs select applicants based on educational needs only and Grades-Plus programs select applicants based on both academic and non-academic needs. International applicants wishing to complete their higher education in Canada will have to meet certain additional requirements to obtain admission. These requirements may vary depending on the country of applicants and the application process.

In 2019, about 2,600 students enrolled in full-time programs at Ryerson University. It needs to complete a four-year graduate honors degree (or equivalent) at a recognized institution.

Applicants are advised to apply for the required visa/student permit as soon as they receive their admission letter from the university.

Ryerson admits foreign students only for fall semesters. There are some undergraduate programs that accept applications for spring and winter semesters as well. International students are admitted to the MBA program only during the spring year. Applicants applying to study in Canada must confirm the application and all documents before February 1, 2022 (Closed).
If applications received from Ryerson University exceed the number of vacancies available for each program, applicants should be aware that even after meeting the requirements of the sub-program, entry is not guaranteed. As entry is competitive, applicants must submit marks and requirements in addition to the minimum selection in their preferred programs.
The acceptance Rate at Ryerson University MBA program is 25%. It is the second-lowest of the 39 Canadian MBA programs determined by the Financial Post in March 2012.
