AWS Innovate DeepRacer Challenge 2019

About the Organizer :

AWS DeepRacer is a 1/18th scale race car that gives you an interesting and fun way to get started with reinforcement learning (RL). RL is an advanced machine learning (ML) technique which takes a very different approach to train models than other machine learning methods. Its superpower is that it learns very complex behaviors without requiring any labeled training data, and can make short term decisions while optimizing for a longer-term goal.

This event is designed to teach you how to build, train, and deploy sophisticated models within any framework, build the next generation of intelligent apps, and much more! Discover how AI/ML knowledge can transform not only your data models but also your business and career.

The AWS DeepRacer League provides an opportunity for you to meet fellow machine learning enthusiasts, online and in-person, to share ideas and insights, and to compete in time trials showcasing your skills to win prizes and glory.

Rewards:

Race and have a chance to win up to $1,250 AWS Credits and a trip to re: Invent in Las Vegas (4000 USD)

The participants who submit the 3 fastest lap times will win prizes in the form of AWS Credits. By November 15th, you will see your lap times and scores on the leaderboard for this challenge. Winners will be announced via email and on this website, and AWS Credits will be provided via email by November 15th to the winners.

1st Place - $1,250 AWS Credit
2nd Place - $750 AWS Credit
3rd Place - $500 AWS Credit

Deliverables:

Build, train, and evaluate a self-driving model, and join the world's first autonomous racing league & compete for prizes! The AWS Innovate registered racers with the 3 fastest lap times in the October race of the Virtual Circuit will receive AWS Credits.
