 About the Organizer :

KTH Royal Institute of Technology is a university with a rich history of pioneering ideas and innovation that dates back to 1827. It offers world-leading, high-impact research and education facilities and faculty. 

For nearly 200 years, KTH has educated students who have gone on to influence our present and make the technological advances that define modern society. Studies at KTH extend beyond the campus buildings and are closely tied to the industry through research projects and ongoing collaborations. 

 Problem Statement:

Students can participate in the KTH Master’s Challenge in five simple steps:

  • Step 1: Enter the Competition
  • Step 2: Fill out your profile
  • Step 3: Test your knowledge in 3 quizzes
  • Step 4: Apply your skills in a case study
  • Step 5: Submit your motivational statement
  • Step 6: Apply to KTH through universityadmissions.se

 Rewards:

Students will have a chance to win:

  • A full-tuition scholarship worth approximately 23,00,000 INR. The scholarship is given to one winner from each of the programme under Electric Power Engineering, Engineering Design, Information and Network Engineering, or Turbomachinery Aeromechanical University Training THRUST
  • The top 3 candidates per programme will receive certificates of achievement as well as an invitation to the award ceremony in January 2018

October 4, 2017 - November 21, 2017

 Rules and Guidelines:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Participants in the KTH Master’s Challenge must be residents of India and eligible to study at the master’s level at KTH

Screening Criteria:

  • Contestants will be judged based on their quiz results, the case study, and their motivational statement, as well as educational background and prior academic performance. Winners will be selected from among those who are accepted to KTH.

Other Guidelines:

  • The THRUST programme scholarship covers one year of tuition
  • The scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash

Key Dates:

  •  October 16, 2017: University admissions opens for applications
  •  November 21, 2017: KTH Master’s Challenge 2018 deadline
  •  December 19, 2017: Top 3 winner nominees per programme are announced
  •  January 2018: Programme winners are announced during the Award Ceremony
