The college is equipped with Biochemistry Lab, Microbiology Lab, Fundamentals of Nursing Lab, Pediatric Lab, Midwifery Lab, Nutrition Lab, Computer Lab, Community health Lab, Anatomy Lab, Counseling Room, A.V.aids Lab & a Departmental Library. Which has a very vast collection of reference books and journals of both Indian and Foreign ,Online Journals are available through Helinet and audio- video material also available to the students. Hostel facilities with modern amenities like South Indian, North Indian and Continental foods are available to our student on the campus. The atmosphere in the college is very congenial for professional growth

Campus Facilities

Hostel

Outstation students need not worry about a place to stay. The college has excellent hostel facilities to all students. The Girls Hostels are separately placed. The rooms are well furnished and spacious. Here you can live and built lasting friendship with like-minded students as well as learn to face the real world by yourself. It is not compulsory for students to stay in the hostel .Each hostel has its own indoor games facility. They are provided with well maintained dining rooms with independent kitchens and hygienic cooking facilities and safe drinking water. They have the required levels of security and are environmentally well placed. The hostel facility is very ideal for pursuing academic goals.

Fees: The accommodation is for a period of one year. At the time of admission to the hostel. You will have to pay the full fees for one year. Once you are allotted the hostel you will have to stay for the full academic year and you will be liable to pay the hostel fees for the full year.

Food: Hostel facilities with modern amenities like South Indian, North Indian and Continental foods are available to our student on the campus.

We have three types of hostels.

1. Dormitory Type Hostel
2. Four sharing Hostel
3. International Hostel

Library

The college of Nursing has a spacious library with more than 4,000 professional books, Journals and periodicals both national and international, bound volumes of old journals and periodicals, audio video materials, learning CDs, news papers and magazines which is easily accessible for faculty and students.

Laboratory

The college has Computer Lab, Anatomy and Physiology Lab, Microbiology and Biochemistry Lab, Nutrition Lab, Fundamental Lab, MCH Lab, Pediatric Lab ,Community Lab, A.V.Aids Lab with state of art equipments.

Computer Lab

We are living in the electronic age.  As health care is an area that has been greatly influenced by the information technology, it is imperative  that nurses should be well acquainted with computers and their use in the care of patients.  It also enhances provision for internet access which keeps update with the changes and challenges in their professional and personal avenue.  Facilities are available for students to browse information on the web during their project works, care studies, seminars and other presentations, the facility.

Anatomy and Physiology lab

Anatomy lab is designed for the exploration and dissection of various structures.  The laboratory has a collection of human skeleton, specimens of different parts of the body, models, dummies, simulations, audio video CDs and charts

Microbiology Lab

Microbiology lab has adequate number of different types of microscopes, slides and other equipments to facilitate learning.

Biochemistry Lab

The Biochemistry laboratory offers an opportunity to learn with best of automated instrumentation.

Nutrition Lab

Nutrition lab is well furnished and equipped with cooking facilities where students learn preparation of various therapeutic and normal diet.

Fundamental lab

Fundamental Lab is well equipped as per norms and requirements of Indian Nursing Council. The laboratory is equipped with a chase doll, patient simulator, cardiopulmonary resuscitation mannequin and hand simulator in addition to the facilities in an ideal ward situation.

MCH Lab

MCH lab is designed for students to appreciate the concepts and principles of obstetric nursing.  The MCH lab is equipped and furnished with birthing simulators, obstetric manikins, infant manikins, real objects and models of all kinds.

Community Health Lab

The Community Health Lab is well equipped with community bags, charts, flash cards and models etc., for the purpose of Community field visits and mass health education programme. The college provides both urban and rural community health nursing field experience for the students.  The urban center is attached to Gottigere . The rural center is at Jigani that is within a distance of 5 km from the college.

Pediatric Lab

Child health laboratory is equipped with bed cradle, child dummy, instruments, toys & play materials for the various age groups of children.

Audio Visual Aids

One of the best methods of teaching and learning is with the help of audio visual aids.  The college has the latest audio visual aids such as LCD projector, Computers, DVD player, CD player, T.V, Public address system, Camera, Printed materials and pamphlets and leaf lets, Over head projectors, Slide projectors, tape recorders audio video tapes, CDs, models, charts, manikins and real objects.

Canteen/Cafeteria

The college has a canteen where the students can take a break from the rigorous schedule of daily classes. The canteen provides excellent food at subsidized rates, giving you great value for money.

Bank loan facility

Most major banks provide educational loans for students studying at A.E.C.S. Group of Institution. On payment of the 1st year/1st semester fees to the college, the student will on request be issued a Bonafide Certificate with estimated expenditure, which you may present to your bank, for availing the loan facility from your bank. Our bankers are Canara Bank and Axis Bank .Education loan is available to candidates, subject to the terms and conditions .Bank’s decision though is final.

Transport

With the fast growth of Bangalore, an efficient transport system is required to pick up the students from different parts of the city. We have an excellent time bound transport system, which means that you reach your destination tirelessly and in time to be punctual for classes. An added advantage - The pick up points are made for your convenience and that includes hostelites too. If you choose to use the college bus you have to pay the one year transportation charges .Public transport is also available if the students choose.
