Computer Lab
The Lab is equipped with latest brands of computers for on hand training to students. It provides students with hands-on experience with industry –specific software as well as regular –use software. High speed Internet access is also provided. Student learns to be computer savvy, a skill which is essential for succeeding in today’s world.
Food Production Labs :
All these facilities are well equipped and maintained on industry standard.
Basic Training Kitchen
The Basic Training kitchen provides formal introduction to cooking. This is where students gain the knowledge of the basic of cooking.
Quantity training kitchen
Here the students learn to make menus, preparation, presentation and service in “bulk cooking” mode.
Advanced Training Kitchen
This is where senior students develop expertise in a particular field of culinary delicacies. It is identical to a typical hotel kitchen.
Bakery & Confectionery
This is the place where student learn to bake cakes, breads and pastries. They also learn to make chocolates, puddings and other exotic desserts.
Front Office
The Front Office is identical to a typical Front Office in a hotel. It is used to train student on how to welcome guest, ascertain their requirement, register them ,help them check in and checkout, handling of billing –related issues. The emphasis is not just on procedure but also on personalizing interaction with guests. Therefore this is a place where communication skills, rapport-building and situation-handling skills are developed. The lab has a reception, a lobby and a lounge.
Hostel & Mess
The hostels are spacious, clean and comfortable and secure. Student can expect good quality and ambiance. The hostel Mess caters to the culinary preferences of student from diverse backgrounds and students are encouraged to be decision making to the running of Hostel and the Mess.
Housekeeping
The Housekeeping Lab includes a guest room and linen department. It equips students with the skills necessary for managing the linen requirements of guest, their laundry, using chemicals and other cleaning agents for maintaining the guest room in an impeccable condition and taking care of the guest’ needs.
Library
The Library has abundant resources in the form of books, journals, magazines and other periodicals. It also has a rich pool of audio-visual aids. It is spacious and peaceful, facilitating the right atmosphere for knowledge along with improving communication skills.
Training Restaurant & Bar
The college has 40 seat restaurant with bar. It provides student with the opportunity to learn the handling of service in a restaurant and the bar operations. Students learn different ways of managing restaurant operations and acquiring firsthand knowledge of wines & sprites.
