IIAAM Merit Cum Means Scholarships Scheme

Expanding its outreach in the area of social concern, IIAAM has started a merit cum means scholarship scheme to promote the educational interests of the financially and socially backward meritorious students and thus helping them in shaping their careers in the aviation industry as well.

“IIAAM Scholarships Scheme” for Graduate Students.

An amount of Rs. 40,00,000/ (Rupees Forty Lakhs only)- Scholarships are being offered for the 200 undergraduate studies. The equitable distribution of scholarships may be State-wise, based on “Number of students applied”.

“IIAAM Scholarships Scheme” for Post-Graduate students

An amount of Rs 20,00,000/ (Twenty Lakhs only) scholarships are being offered for the 100 for Post-Graduate Course. The distribution of scholarships may be Zone-wise based on “Number of students applied for and may be equitably distributed in the four zones viz. North, South, East & West Districts of Kerala.

Scholarship Amount will be disbursed at admission time.

Eligibility:

Students who has passed 10+2 or equivalent from Schools / Colleges / Institutions / Universities recognized by MCI / AICTE / State Education Boards / State Govt. / ICSE / ISC / CBSE / Central Govt. / Association of Indian universities with an aggregate of 50% or above, shall be eligible to apply.

In case of graduates, the average percentage of total marks of all the academic years of graduation shall be treated as marks obtained by the candidate. Similarly in case of 12th, if Board/University does not mention percentage of marks obtained, percentage of marks obtained shall be calculated on total aggregate marks. Minimum eligibility percentage of marks for various categories will be as indicated above.

Gross Joint income of the family of the candidate from all sources (during financial year 2012-13) should not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) per annum. However, preference will be given to the students whose family income (gross joint income from all sources in 2011-12) is Rs. 60,000/- (Rs. Sixty thousand only) or less. Competent Revenue Authorities should issue income certificate only. Any Affidavit for Income Proof will not be accepted.

Criterion for selection will be merit and annual family income.

AGE LIMIT:Minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years as on 03.07.2013. Persons born between 03.07.1995 and 03.07.1988 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
