Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Law was established in 1945 in order to fulfill the long-felt need for Law college in that part of the country. The college has taken many initiatives to increase the standards of teaching and research to help the students in building up their career at Bar. The college offers a degree in bachelors and masters in LL.B and PhD courses.
Admission to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Law can be taken by appearing for LAWCET conducted by the Andhra University, the eligibility for which is a minimum of 50% score in 12th for the 5 Year program, and 50% in graduation (any degree) for the 3 Year program. Eligibility for SC and ST reserved candidates is 40% for both programs.
