Every student has to do a year of internship after graduating. As it is a medical college, there's no such thing as placement. Alumni of the college have a union called ANMMCAA. Alumni keep visiting the college and are supportive.

Entrance Exams & Admissions :
One needs to crack NEET to get admitted into ANMMC, Gaya. For general category candidates, the cut off rank is about AIR 10k which corresponds to around state rank 650. There are 100 seats, out of which 81 are filled through UGMAC, on the basis on NEET rank, 4 seats are reserved for national nominees and 15 seats are filled through AIQ.
Academics & Faculty :
Daily routine is obviously busy. Classes start at 8:30 am and end at 4:30 pm. The teachers are well qualified. PowerPoint presentations are used for lectures. There are demonstration classes held in Anatomy department. The experience is pretty good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
Being an old government college, the old buildings are in need of replacement. The new buildings though are amazing. It has 5 large air conditioned lecture theatres and air conditioned labs. There is a huge central library having 6 floors. There are 6 boys hostels and 5 girls hostels. The hostel fee is 4800 rupees per year. The food in the mess is wholesome with a menu having both veg and non-veg food. It only costs Rs. 30 for Normal meal and Rs. 60 for special meal. The entire campus has Wifi network for which you don't have to pay anything. The hospital is huge and has great patient input. There is a dedicated building for trauma centre and multispeciality hospital.
Clubs & Associations :
There are two main events that are organised in the campus 1. Saraswati pooja 2. College Foundation week in the month of Feb. Other events like Independence Day and republic Day celebrations are also organised by the students of 2nd year. Many sports such as cricket, football, badminton, athletics are organised. Cultural programs like daandiya night, mehendi competition, fashion show and many others are organised every year. The life at first seems hectic but soon one starts enjoying it.
