Asian College of Engineering and Technology offers Bachelors of Engineering (B.E.) under various disciples. Applicants enrolling for the B.E. course need to check the eligibility criteria before enrolling. The mode of application is online. Applicants who have completed diploma can apply under the ‘Lateral Entry Method’ to gain admission in the second year.

The steps to fill the form are as follows- 

• Go to the official website of ACET. 
• Select the Academics tab and click on the Application section.
• It will redirect and open an application form.
• Applicants should download the application form.
• Duly fill all the details in the form. It includes personal details and educational qualifications. It also contains a list of documents needed for application. 
• Students from lateral entry backgrounds have to fill details in the ‘Lateral Entry Students’ section.

Asian College of Engineering and Technology Admission Process 2021

ACET offers a full-time undergraduate programme in Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) across various disciples. 

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate with 50% or above in HSC exam (Academic or Vocational) can apply for direct entry in the first year of Bachelor of Engineering programme. A lateral entry option is also available for students who have completed a diploma and they can join in the second year of B.E. programme. 

The entry requirements are different for applicants from different communities. For candidates from the BC community (Including BCM) the minimum average is 45% in both direct and lateral entries. For candidates from the MBC & DNC community and the SC/ SCA/ ST community, the minimum average is 40% (Direct entry) and 45% (Lateral entry).

Selection Criteria

Selection of candidates for the Bachelors of Engineering is done on the basis of merit. Scores of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) entrance exam is also taken into consideration for the purpose of selection.
