SB College Changanassery was founded in the year 1922 and later it is named as Berchmans Institute of Management Studies, Kottayam in the academic year 1995. BIMS is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. Berchmans Institute of Management Studies, Kottayam entered into MOU with Dominican university in teaching, research and consulting. In 1996 BIMS received an Entrepreneur award and in 2004 institute has increased its intake to 60 seats with Faculty interface all India wide. BIMS College offering a full-time MBA course for 2years over four semesters in various specializations.

BIMS Admission to the MBA course shall be on the basis of CMAT/CAT/KMAT, based on the eligible rank a candidate can apply online on the official website.
