CDAC Pune was established in 1993 and is the premier R&D organization of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) for carrying out R&D in IT, Electronics, and associated areas. Different areas of C-DAC had originated at different times, many of which came out due to identifying opportunities.

Through a well-designed full-time diploma course, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing aims to equip students with skills to excel in Data Analytics, Android, and IT & Software. The Institute offers 3 UG and 22 PG Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificate courses. It has faculty who have expertise and experience in their respective fields. Along With a strong focus on research and development, the dissemination of teaching and training allows students to remain ahead of the competition through the latest insights on the industry.

CDAC Pune Admission

CDAC Pune admission 2024 is ongoing. Admission to courses like PG-DAC. PG-DIoTZ, PG-DBDA, and PG-DMC are done through C-DAC's computerized Common Admission Test (C-CAT). The process of admission to C-DAC's PG Diploma courses begins with online registration. Candidates must read the instructions carefully while filling out the online registration and application forms. Upon registering, candidates will get their Form Number, which can be used to log in and complete the C-CAT application form.

CDAC Pune Eligibility Criteria

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing Pune offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses with different eligibility criteria. A list of a few courses the university offers with their eligibility criteria is below.

 PG-DAC Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in Engineering (10+2+4 or 10+3+3 years) in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation, OR MSc/MS (10+2+3+2 years) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics OR.
• Candidate must have a valid score in C-CAT

PG-DIoTZ Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have MSc/MS (10+2+3+2 years) in Computer Science, IT, and Electronics, with a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying degree.
• Candidate must have a valid score in C-CAT.

PG-DBDA Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have a minimum of 55% in any qualifying degree.
• Candidate must have a valid score in C-CAT.

CDAC Pune placements create a platform where students can showcase their talents which different companies seek to explore and utilize. Since 1993, it has successfully placed many graduates who have appeared for placements. This year especially, the performance has been overwhelming.

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing helps students explore placement opportunities by inviting companies for the Common Campus Placement Programme. A great number of new as well as regular companies visit our National Level Common Campus Placement Programme (CCPP) every batch, and we have successfully placed more than 2000 students every batch.
