CDSIMER UG Admission 2024

The CDSIMER admission is primarily open to the MBBS programme. The course duration is four years and six months, of which one year of the internship programme is compulsory.

CDSIMER UG Admission Eligibility Criteria

The CDSIMER eligibility criteria for UG courses are below for reference. Candidates must meet the course requirements to be eligible to participate in the CDSIMER admission process of 2024.

• The CDSIMER eligibility criteria for MBBS is that candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects. 
• They must also have a minimum aggregate score of 50% in these subjects. 
• Additionally, a valid score in the NEET examination is crucial to CDSIMER admission criteria. Applicants must meet the cutoff marks set by the institute.
• Upon being shortlisted, applicants must appear for the counselling that KEA conducts. 
• Indian, International and NRI candidates can apply. However, the CDSIMER admission process may vary slightly.

CDSIMER Research Admission 2024

CDSIMER admission offers research programmes like PhD with several specialisations. The course duration for candidates with M/MS degree will be five years. Whereas for a 3-year M.Sc. degree holder, the duration will be six years. The PhD programme is offered at Dayananda Sagar University (DSU).

CDSIMER Research Admission Eligibility Criteria

Below are the CDSIMER eligibility criteria for PhD programme. Applicants must meet these requirements to participate in the CDSIMER admission process.

• CDSIMER eligibility criteria for PhD is that applicants must complete M.D/ M.S / Medical P.G. Diploma/M.Sc. in the concerned subjects.
• Otherwise, applicants must be faculty members of CDSIMER with MCI/NMC recognised Post Graduate qualifications. 
• Applicants must complete a PG degree with 3 years course duration from a recognised Medical college.
• CDSIMER eligibility criteria for PhD require candidates to secure 50% marks in the entrance examination. 
• Applicants must appear for the PhD entrance test, followed by an interview round before an expert panel.

CDSIMER Admission Process 2024

CDSIMER offers admission to undergraduate and PhD programmes with different specialising subjects. Applicants wanting to participate in the CDSIMER admission process must appear for the NEET UG 2024 entrance test. The seat allocation process for MBBS is done on merit by the Karnataka Examination Authority. Hence, qualified applicants must attend the NEET Counselling 2024. 

For PhD, the CDSIMER admission is offered based on the entrance examination and interview round by an expert panel. The seats are limited to two candidates for each department every year. The CDSIMER application form is available on the official website of the Institute. Once the final merit list is out, shortlisted candidates must deposit the course fee at the CDSIMER admission office. CDSIMER Entrance Exam 2024

The CDSIMER admission process is based on merit and entrance examinations. Applicants must appear for the NEET 2024 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) and meet the cutoff rank set by the CDISMER admission department. Applicants who meet the cutoff rank must proceed to complete the NEET Counselling 2024 that KEA conducts.

For CDSIMER admission to PhD, applicants must appear for the Entrance examination that the DSU conducts. The entrance exam syllabus differs for applicants holding a relevant rank in the following - NEET UG / UGC-JRF / UGC-NET /  UGC-CSIR JRF / UGC-CSIR NET / SLET / GATE / Teacher Fellowship. Short-listed candidates must submit their Research Proposal in the interview round before an expert panel.
