Placements & Internships : The internship criteria are such that it depends on which course who are enrolled in. There are three courses which are currently being offered in CIC and the concerned faculty helps you in getting the suitable internship according to your field and interest.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for taking admission in Cluster Innovation Center(CIC) is just the basic entrance exam test which comprises of basic general knowledge questions. When I got admission in CIC the admission procedure was in this way: First, there was an entrance test that consisted of basic general knowledge questions. The candidates who made it to the shortlisting criteria of the CIC made it to the interview level. There was an interactive interview session of the candidate which included basic questions about the candidate - his/her interests, why s/he wants to join the particular course. In this way I got admission.

Fees & Scholarships : The CIC offers you the best infrastructure in the lowest fees possible from the rest of the colleges. When I was in the college it was Rs.5000/- per semester with examination fees. There was Plus Rs.1000/- for the library deposit (which are refundable) (library deposit is only taken once at the time of admission only)

Academics & Faculty : CIC is is a meta-college concept course which enables you to choose the choice of academic papers you want to study with the choice of college (of DU) you want to be in for a particular semester. The course offers specialization in four streams: Journalism Art & Design Historical Tourism Counseling The course structure is such that you have to study first and the last semester in CIC which includes some core papers. And from the second semester to fifth you are free to choose your paper and college. From 2nd to 5th semester you have to study 3 core papers (stream specific) in college with 1 elective paper in the Project format in CIC only.

Academics & Faculty : The normal class timings are from 9am - 5pm and we have 6 subjects every semester in which we have to do the projects for every subject. Our curriculum is based on continous evaluation that means surprise test , assignments on regular basis keeping you busy all day long. Quality of teaching is good , young and doctrate teachers following a pattern of guidance and mentorship instead of spoon feeding which makes you more responsible. Unlike other colleges this college has more of a department and research atmosphere which makes my experience is bit different and great.

Fees & Scholarships : The most affordable college in our country giving you an engineering degree with only Rs 10,000/- per year. One can ask for scholarship or fees wave off if you have some famly issues but paying this much fees isn't a burden to any family. Academics & Faculty : The daily routine for a humanities student at CIC is rigorous and extensive. Classes in the first semester start at 9 a.m. and continue till 2 p.m. as there are 5 papers which are taught in the first semester namely Art of communication, cultural diversity, impact of technology, environmental science and research methodology. The students at CIC are encouraged to take part in various workshops and seminars conducted in and around the university. For example, in my first semester, I took part in various workshops and seminars such as a workshop on creativity in communication conducted by Prof. Brij Bakshi, former creative head at Doordarshan and visiting professor at CIC, theatre workshop conducted by renowned theatre personality Hadi Sarmadi, a 2 months course on writing a manuscript etc. Due to the new CBCS ranking system adopted by the university, students at CIC for the purpose of securing marks in their internal assessment are required to give presentations on various topics for which they are evaluated by the mentors. The daily routine at CIC keeps changing every semester. B.A. Honours Humanities and Social Sciences is taught with the meta college concept. What this means is that after the end of first semester, all the students are required to go to other colleges of Delhi University from semester II - V and study the subjects of their choice in accordance with the 4 streams offered at CIC namely - Journalism, Counselling, Art and Design and Historical Tourism. Students are required to choose papers in accordance with the stream of their choice and are guided through this process by the mentors at CIC. For example, I have completed my second semester from Ramjas college studying 3 papers of political science honours and may be going to Hindu college next semester for studying other papers of my choice. A student of B.A. Honours Humanities and Social Sciences is required to study 4 papers from semesters II to V which include 3 theory papers to be taught at other colleges of Delhi University and one project paper to be taught at CIC under the guidance of the mentor.
