NCC
NCC helps in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. It also develops character, leadership, secular outlook, sprit of adventure and above all the ideals of selfless service amongst the youth. NCC cadets are always available for the service of the nation. The college maintains one platoon of NCC. The unit is functioning under the command of 5 Punjab Girls Bn. NCC Moga. It is in the charge of Dr. Anupama NCC aims at the development of leadership, character, comradeship and the ideal of service. It creates a force of disciplined and trained manpower, which in a national emergency, would be of assistance to the country. Students who wish to join NCC should contact the teacherin- charge and fill up the prescribed forms. The parents or guardians of the students taking up NCC are personally responsible for the safe custody and the return of all items of uniforms and equipments issued to their wards. Weightage of marks to NCC Certificate holders for admission to various courses in the University Teaching Departments and its affiliated colleges w.e.f. the academic session 2002-2003 would be as under : The holders of NCC A,B & C Certificates shall be given the weightage in marks as under.
National Service Scheme (NSS)
The college takes genuine pride in pursuing its community service programme rigorously. The NSS department is activily involved in making the youth aware of national problems and their role in rendering service to the nation at the time of national calamities. Tree plantation programmes are regularly undertaken by NSS Volunteers. They are also actively engaged in 'Pulse Polio Drive', and in organising 'Blood Donation' as well as 'Dental Check-up Camps'. The college has two units of NSS. Dr. Aradhana Bahri and Mrs. Meenakshi Mittal are the teachers in charge of this department.

Youth Welfare Department
For the overall personality enhancement of the students, the college Youth Welfare Department organises various activities throughout the year. Besides engaging students in different inter-class and inter-college cultural & cocurricular activities, the department grooms and trains teams and individual participants for participation in zonal & Inter-zonal Youth Festival. The performance of our students has always been ranked high at these Festivals. Our teams bring laurels in drama, histrionics, music items, dance, quiz & fine arts events year after year by winning top positions in various Competitions at the Zonal Youth Festival. Apart from this, the department organises a Talent Hunt event and a theatre workshop annually with a view to spot and hone the creative skills of the budding artists. The aim of these programmes is to bring to surface the latent creative and aesthetic skills of the young students. The maximum weightage of 40% marks is reserved in any or all the curricular activities i.e. for admission to various courses in the University Teaching Departments and its affiliated colleges.
Gymnasium
To take care of the fitness needs of the students, the college has started a fully functional, state-of-art, air conditioned new-age gym "Fitness First" in its campus. It will benefit the students of the college by generating interest in overall fitness. The students desirous of joining the gym are instructed to get themselves enrolled at the time of admission itself.

The college library has a wide range of books and subscribes to e-journals, newspapers and business magazines.
