It is the seventh oldest university in the country. The Syllabus and curriculum are similar to that of Patna University. Course	Eligibility
BA/B.Sc	The candidate must have passed the +2 examination of any recognized Board or University. The candidate must have passed I.A. / I. Sc. Math or Bio/I.Com. 55% aggregate marks in cause the candidate belonging to general merit, must be obtained. 45% aggregate marks in case of candidates belonging to SC and ST category & BC-I, must be obtained.
BLIS	The candidate must have secured a Bachelor’s Degree with honors with 45% of minimum marks. Masters Examination with 45%. The candidate must possess a Certificate in Lib. Sc. for a duration of at least three months with 45% and above
PGDFM	The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree examination in Commerce or Business Administration of a recognized University with at least 45% marks in Honors. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree examination in other faculties such as Arts, Science, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy and Law of a recognized University with at least 50% marks in Honors. The candidate must have a Professional degree examination in Accountancy/Cost & Works Accountancy/Company Secretaryship etc. with at least 45% marks.
PGDJ	The candidate must have passed B.A./ B.com./ B. Sc. of a recognized University or a degree recognized by the Academic of the Patna University, with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. The candidate must have secured at least 45% marks in the Language subjects offered at the Bachelor’s examination. Science/Commerce Graduate must have secured at least 45% marks in the compulsory language paper at the I.Sc./I.Com. Examination.

DDEPU Admission:

The candidates that meet the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply for any course can obtain the Application form from the office and apply.
Photostat copies of marks sheets and other certificates should be submitted along with the application form.
The candidate is advised to submit the application form at the office by hand before the closing date.
In any case, a late application form will be accepted.
