Bcom students have three options at Emmanuel College.
Whether to opt 'Computer applications, tourism and travel management, or finance as main papers.
As a student Bcom travel and tourism management student it is mandatory to complete a 30-day internship program to get the course completed.
But it is not applicable to the students who have finance or computer applications as their main papers.
There will be no stipend or scholarship provided from the side of the college.
The campus placement by this college only includes companies or jobs who offer a maximum of Rs.1 lakh per annum.
There is an alumni association which is satisfactory.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
After getting the HSC results, Apply online as per the guidelines provided by the Kerala University.
Wait for the allotments.
If your name is there on the list you can surely get admission in Emmanuel College.
Also if there are vacant seats, you can get them on the managent basis.
The fee is the for both management as well as merit seats.
Though there are no entrance exams for getting admission in this college ( 12th pass certificate is mandatory ).
Fees & Scholarships :
The fee is Rs.22500 per year(Rs. 11250 per semester) at Emmanuel College.
You get such scholarships offered by the government if you're eligible for it.
Loan can be availed from most of the nationalised banks.
Academics & Faculty :
The classes at Emmanuel College start at 9:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm.
In between, you'll get a 10-minute recess and a lunch break last for 50 minutes.
Teaching standards are just average.
There is no much importance given to extracurricular activities in this college.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
As Emmanuel College is situated in a remote area, the infrastructure is poor.
There is only one hostel for girls and only rented houses for boys.
It may cost around rs_6000 per month per head as hostel fee.
College canteen is so not satisfactory.
Library is a good.
There is no mobile phones or such devices allowed inside the campus.
there's no WiFi as well.
Clubs & Associations :
National service scheme and AICUF are the most active clubs at Emmanuel College.
There is a college fest named XENIUM which was started from the last year(2016).
