Background
With rampant industrialization leading to boom in IT industries, globalization is the way to the future. Our GDP is surging ahead at a growth rate of over 8% which is twice the global rate in the past 20 years. At the current rate, we are all set to outpace Japan to become the third largest economy. India is on the verge of becoming a developed country may be much earlier than our target of 2020. Two-thirds of our population is literate .The Indian “millionaire club” is swelling. Hence job opportunities is burgeoning and it is the younger generation of India especially the techno-professionals, who would stand to gain a lot from this growth story.
We at GIIT are alive to the prevailing environment and are well poised to groom our students to face the future challenges in seeking suitable placements for them. Being a fledgling Organisation, we have adopted a systematic process of grooming them to face the cut-throat completion prevalent in campus placements successfully.
OBJECTIVES:
- To systematically groom students right from first semester by assessing, analysing and developing their soft skills and make them communicative and confident.
- To prepare students to face campus interviews confidently by arranging training in Aptitude Tests, Group Discussions and Technical and HR interviews through professional trainers.
- To promote career counselling by organising guidance lectures by senior corporate personnel.
- To facilitate industrial tours/visits.
- To organise campus interviews for pre-final and final year students with industries and business houses of repute from all over India

PROPOSED ACTIVITIES
- Conduct value added programs like the Personality Development and Communication Workshops.
- Conduct awareness programs for the students in the form of Workshops, Seminars and Conferences in association with Institutions and Corporates.
- Arrange special lectures by Executives from Corporates and Institutions
- Establishing linkages between the industry, the students and the faculty.
- Conduct familiarization tours of Corporates to the Institute so that they can choose how to work together for mutual benefit.
- Organizing training programs in association with the Corporates.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The candidate must have passed in the final examinations of 10+2. The candidate must have appeared the examination of JEE MAIN event.
