GATES Institute of Technology Infrastructure: Library, Hostel, Labs, Gym, Auditorium & Other Facilities

We understand that most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by offering comfortable and safe hostels within and outside the campus. GIT offers separate magnificent hostels for boys and girls with hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day to day management. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. Each hostel has its own mess providing hygienic and nutritious meals three times a day.

Below are the hostel facilities available, subject to variation with respect to the hostel and/or room pattern allotted:

• Separate hostel facility for boys and girls within the campus*
• Semi furnished rooms with attached washrooms
• Adequate ventilation and lighting facility
• Arrangement for 24 hours uninterrupted power supply through dedicated hotlines
• Hot water in winters (scheduled timings)
• Facilities for indoor and outdoor games like Table tennis, Badminton, Football, Basket Ball, Volleyball, , Cricket, Hockey etc.
• Provide medical assistance to students, 24 x 7
• Power backup for light load
• Hygienic mess facility with vegetarian meals only
• Two wheelers may be allowed for hostel residents after approval from authorities (Four wheelers are strictly prohibited)
• 24 hours security
• Gymnasium facility
• Laundry facility (optional on payment basis)
• Tuck shops to cater to all needs of the students at all hours.
• Newspapers and magazines are provided to students on demand.

Gates has the facility of 2 spacious & clean food courts to cater to the needs of the staff and students .They are located on different locations in the campus & can conveniently accommodate about 200 students at a time. Even it can provide adequate facilities to staff and students during peak times.

It serves hot and fresh lunch, snacks & beverages both to the staff and the students at reasonable & affordable prizes. It is well maintained with efficient service & a take away counter. With its efficient staff, it takes extra care to serve delicious ,nutritious and hygienic food. Beverages of different flavors are served on different days according to different seasons.

It remains open on all working days.

When the grind of the staff and students reach its height, they seek refreshment in this friendly and relaxed atmosphere of food courts.
