Training & Placement:
The T&P department regularly conducts training for the students. Special programms are include in their day-to-day timetable. The program begins in the first year. The department also invites professionals from manoj management institutes. To further enhance the prgramme; mock interviews, GD/PI are also conducted for students to help them understand the selection process of the coprporate sector.
In today’s business environment which is changing rapidly, it is imperative for Corporate to continuously change and evolve for success. The rich teaching environment and the comprehensive educational program at RGI empower the students to become leaders that can facilitate this change. It is for this reason that we are one of the preferred institutes for the campus recruitment.
We follow one of the best placement processes at RGI. We strive for a best fit between the students and the companies which help both these stakeholders make informed choices. Year after year, RGI has maintained an unbeaten placement record. Even in recession years the placement record at RGI has been quite impressive. . It has also allowed the students to explore a diverse set of functions, roles and career paths. RGI has always believed in helping students as well as recruiters get the best placements.
Placements at the Institute are handled by the training and placement department under the supervision of Director of the group.. We optimize the interests of both the students and the companies. The Training and placement cell gets involved in the process right from beginning of the session and has corporate interactions throughout the year. It organizes pre-placement talks, coordinates all activities during Placement Days.
Summer Internship is an important and integral part of the Post-Graduate Program. Duration of this program is for 8-9 weeks after their first year. The internship helps students gain first-hand experience in a particular industry and in turn helps them learn to be innovate , face challenges, learn new ideas and techniques in the first year itself .
During the internship period student prepare a report on the summer assignment and present it to the organization and institution. The requirement of making a formal presentation about the project to the company and to the Institute ensures that sufficient rigor and discipline are brought in to this exercise.
The Institute has enjoyed extensive corporate support for summer interns with the result that summer projects have been diverse, challenging, and intense learning experiences.. Also, each company gets a chance to evaluate the interns over a long period in a real business situation and make pre-placement offers based on this evaluation. A number of companies have used these internships as a key source for full-time hires.
