GSGS is located in the picturesque seaside setting of the Rushikonda campus of GITAM, Visakhapatnam. GITAM has built a five-storey 50,000 sft facility for GSGS. The five floors are appropriately named Ahimsa, Satya, Swarajya, Swadeshi and Swadharma. The school has a Gandhi museum with a unique pictorial depiction of the Mahatma’s life and houses priceless artefacts from the East and West. The library has a collection of over 3000 volumes on Gandhi and on various disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. GSGS can also boast of a well-equipped and spacious Yoga and Meditation Hall as well as digitally connected reading rooms and classrooms. - Computer Lab: The Computer Lab caters to research in psychology, humanities and social sciences and is equipped to handle online teaching, assessment and practicum work.
- Gandhi Library: The library has a collection of over 3000 volumes on Gandhi ranging from the 100 Volume Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi to the most contemporary volumes on Gandhi.
- Gandhi Museum: The school has a Gandhi Museum with a unique pictorial depiction of the Mahatma’s life in chronological order from birth to death along with a variety of Charkhas or Spinning Wheels and priceless artefacts from the East and West.
Psychological Lab
- The School of Gandhian Studies which houses the Department of Applied Psychology has a well equipped Psychological Laboratory.
- The lab incorporates research experience into psychology courses and caters to teaching, experimentation, assessment, consultancy and counselling requirements.
