GMERS Medical College is situated in Valsad in Gujarat state of India. Established in 1970, it is accredited from AICTE and it is affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. GMERSMCV, Valsad offers 1 course across 1 stream namely Medical and across 1 degree like MBBS. The institute is spread over 36 Acre lush green campus situated in the beautiful city of Valsad, South Gujarat. The nearest airport is Surat Airport which is 90 km and the nearest railway station is Valsad Railway station which is 2 km from the college. 

The campus houses college building, hospital building and residential quarters for the doctors, nursing staff and student's hostel. GMERS Medical College Hospital Valsad, the associated teaching hospital, a multi-speciality hospital is operational since 2nd, October 1987. The same is being upgraded to a 700 bedded hospital. Hostel facility is not available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as Auditorium, Computer Lab, Library, Medical Facilities, Sports, Laboratories, Hostel are also there.

1. 2nd-year M.B.B.S. student (Batch-3) Miss Drashti Shah selected for ICMR STS 2015 project titled “Prevalence of extended-spectrum beta-lactamase in gram-negative bacilli in a tertiary care hospital from various clinical isolates'' under supervision and guidance of Dr. Alka Nerurkar HOD & Professor of Department of Microbiology. She has successfully completed her project work and is awarded a scholarship for the same. 
2. Dr Raksha M Patel, Professor &Head.Deptt. of Dermatology & V.D; Awarded Dr Manu Patel Memorial Prize for Best Poster Presentation at 38th national conference of IADVL at Lucknow 2010. , Awarded First prize in poster presentation “Parry Romberg syndrome treated with Subcutaneous injection of fat”, at the state conference of IADVL, Bhavnagar, December 2007.; Invited as a reviewer by “Clinical, cosmetic and investigational Dermatology” International journal of dermatology and another national journal.; Member of the editorial board of international journal “Dermatology International”
3. Dr Mital G. Patel, Assistant professor- Ophthalmology, Appreciation Award for Best Performance in 2008-09,2009-10, and in 2010-11 for maximum surgery among all government doctors(Minimum 700 cataract surgery per year) 4.
