The student body of Indian Institute of Management, [IIM] Tiruchirapalli has several academic and non-academic clubs. These clubs provide an excellent platform for students having shared interests to come together and work towards a larger goal. The institute has majorly 5 academic clubs – Consulate (the consultancy club), MAC (the marketing club), Sigma Eta (the operations club), Persona (the HR club) and IT/ITeS Club. The major activity of these clubs is to act as an interface between the industry and the students. The clubs regularly bring in experts from different industries to give an explicit idea to students as what can be their future prospects in that particular industry and how better to groom themselves and build their profiles to find higher acceptance in the industry. Given that the alumni network of IIM-Trichy is nowhere as vast or deep as the old IIMs, this handholding activity conducted by the clubs is of great importance.
IIM-Trichy also has a host of other clubs that take care of students’ entertainment and recreation. Spots events such as Kurukshetra and cultural events such as Rhytm give an opportunity for students to display their skills. The business fest of IIM-Trichy, Arcturus, is fast growing to be one of the most coveted b-school fests of southern India.

This idea has lead the institute to conduct the exchange programs not only for students but also for faculty members. While students experience and develop an understanding of foreign culture and business, the faculty members join hands with their counterparts from different universities to undertake projects that address some of the pressing needs of our time.
Fees & Scholarships :

The Institute has been recognized CFA research institute which offers scholarships to the students who certify themselves in exams like CFA. The Institue also offers scholarship to students on merit cum Means.
The loan facility is easily available as the Institute has a list of banks which offer the loans at the best interest rates available in the market.The banks include SBI, ICICI etc.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
Indian Institute of Management, [IIM] Tiruchirapalli is currently operating and sharing its infrastructure with NIT Trichy where the students have an access to all the facilities of NIT Campus. As IIM Trichy follows two year residential programme where the student's avalibility is must in the campus, the hostel facility is provided 100 metres from the academic block.
The quality of food is good as we have cooks which understands the taste of all the zones of India.
The classrooms are equipped with wi-fi , projector facility and designed in such a manner that visibility of all the students in the class is taken care. IIM Trichy is only IIM who would be shifting to its new campus in such a short span of time(5 years).
