IPSAR offers both In-Campus and Off-Campus placement opportunities. Students are offered pre- placement training opportunities to meet the standards prescribed by various organizations. Pre-placement training facilities are in depth and rigorous that includes class room sessions, GD/VIVA and Mock Interviews.

The IPSAR Alumni meet was held in Satichaura premises, Cuttack on 3rd December, 2011.The former students of IPSAR located in different parts of the country and abroad attended the function. The alumni in turn fondly reminisced their days in IPSAR and vey many experiences in their work life while expressing their desire to associate themselves with the institute for all time.
Director Dr. J.K. Misra while felicitating the alumnis with mementoes as token of appreciation hoped that the nostalgia they had had for IPSAR would continue and get concrete terms and together they would work for the generation next.
