Hostels

• The institute provides a well-furnished hostel facility exclusively for males and females.
•  It has spacious rooms with windows opening into the balcony, other facilities include a common room and dining room. 
• It provides sufficient scope for interaction and relationship-building. It provides a congenial atmosphere that gives the new students full scope to know their seniors, learn from them, leverage their knowledge, and build lasting relations with them. 
• It is also a common sight to find study groups and project groups working away into the night in the hostel rooms. These interactions play an especially important role in a student’s life during placements and examinations.

Communication Lab

• In order to improve the communication skills of the students and give them proper diction and pronunciation, JIMS has a fully equipped communication laboratory fixed with the latest equipment where the classes are supervised by technically equipped professors using language CDs.

Electronic Media Studios

• JIMS has two fully equipped studios: one for Radio and the other for Audio-visuals - Television and Cinema.
• The Studios have modern facilities like an Audio Lab with the latest hi-tech equipment and a Video Lab with high-precision cameras for indoor and outdoor shooting and a darkroom for the development of photographs.
• Editing machines using the latest digital technology are installed to provide practical training to students in the field of Television and Cinema.
• The in-house radio studio and recording equipment with music mixing facility provide students with the full concept of program visualization to be broadcasted.

JIMS FM Community Radio ‘96.9’ and ‘90.4’

• JIMS is the first private sector Institute of Northern India to have been given a license by the Government of India to run Community Radio.
• This radio is being run by the students and is providing an opportunity to develop programs for community broadcast.
• The radio station is used by the college as a laboratory for training students specializing in radio broadcasts and they work in close coordination with community representatives and leaders.

Training Kitchen/ Production Lab

• In their State of the Art Kitchen the students are given hand on training on the latest trends in food Production.
• The practicals begin with the basic knowledge of food later making them proficient in advanced levels of food production wherein they start making multi-cuisine menus.
• They are also taught the importance of time and material management.

Bakery

• A modern bakery where the fancy bakery and confectionery products like Breads, Cakes, Cookies, Pastries, Muffins, Patties, Croissants, etc. are taught.
• Students make Desserts like Souffles, Mousses, and Puddings under expert supervision.
• Bakery practicals also include Sugar Craft and Chocolate Making.

Front Office Lab

• They have a well-equipped Front Office Lab where the students are taught the practical functioning of this department like giving information, taking reservations, guest registration, billing, etc on the latest Software.
• Along with this special emphasis is given to social and communication skills.
• Situation handling and Telephone handling through role plays and the importance of Power Dressing is an integral part of the Front Office Practical.

Housekeeping Lab

• The Housekeeping Lab comprises of a Mock Guest Room where the students are taught basic Guest room procedures such as Bed Making, Turndown, and Room cleaning.
• Apart from this, they are also trained in basic laundry procedures like Washing, Ironing, and Stain Removal.
• Besides this, the students learn the various aspects of interior decoration like different types of Flower arrangements, Rangoli, and Theme Decorations.

Training Restaurant

• In the Training Restaurant, the students are taught different types of Food & Beverage Services along with Bar Tending activities like serving drinks, creating Mocktails, etc. 
• The students organize various theme parties in a restaurant-like environment, giving them a close feel of the actual work that they do in the industry.
