• The candidates should have passed 10+2 in Arts, Commerce, Science or any other relevant stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% and should have studied English as a subject or
• The candidates should have passed a three-year Diploma with a minimum aggregate of 50% with English as a compulsory subject

Faculty:

• Dr S Ghosal [Dean of The D-School at Jain University] began his career in 1986 in the National Institute of Design [NID] and was a part of the Institute for over three decades till October 2015
• Till 2001, he was based out of the NID Main Campus which is at located Ahmedabad
• In 2002, Dr S Ghosal was transferred to the city of Bangalore in order to set up the R&D campus of NID which became fully functional in mid-2007 with 4 PG programs
• In 2010 he was a visiting professor at the OCAD University, Toronto, Canada
• In addition to being a member of the Faculty of Industrial Design at NID, Dr Ghosal has also lead a couple of major administrative positions like the Vice Chairman [Training] and Chairman [Outreach Programs] at NID
• He was also a member of NID's Policy Planning Committee from 2000 to 2008
• Coming to international exposure, he has had fellowships from The British Council, Government of Sweden, WHO, ICSID, Japan, Thailand and many more
