The college provides separate hostel for boys and girls with homely environment and parental ach care. Each room is provided with an air cooler, two ceiling fans and washbasin. The bathrooms are kept ultra clean and fitted with geysers. The hostel mess provides vegetarian, nutritious and hygienic food. Each hostel has two wardens to take care of students round the clock. Various recreational facilities like T.V, indoor games, magazines, newspapers and a well-equipped gymnasium are also made available. Efforts are being made to make the residents feel at home and to make the environment conducive for studies.

Lunch: Sabzi (Season Veg),Dahi, Salad, Roti, Rice.
Dinner: Dal (Variety), Sabzi (Seasonal Veg), Rice, Khichdi, Achar, Green Chilly.

In Cafeteria of JIET, well trained and experienced Chef prepares a variety of purely vegetarian North Indian, South Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisines to suit the tastes of all students. Management members and senior faculty of JIET too share the food of both mess & cafeteria regularly to ensure that there is no let down in the quality. The dining hall is spacious, neatly maintained and can seat large number of students. Food is prepared and served in hygienic conditions. In order to ensure that there is no let up in the nourishment provided, a dietician guides the weekly menu and students who need special diet are also given advice. Day scholars and others who feel like having refreshments between classes can enjoy the snacks at the college cafeteria. A thrift shop has been set up. A food court facility provides nourishing and hygienically prepared snacks and refreshments for the students and lecturers to savor during their free periods.
