KJ Somaiya College of Education offers exciting scholarships to students. The scholarship offered by the institution provides an opportunity on the part of the students to eradicate their financial hurdles and drive their focus towards their studies. The institution has so far offered an amount of INR 56,823,864 to 560 students. Dr. Meenakshi Rajan Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship aims to assist students with enlightened liberal arts disciplines to create insightful participants in society who are well-rounded, skilled in reading, writing, thought, and speech, and who possess an eye for integration of academics. The details regarding the eligibility criteria required to gain the scholarship have been listed below. 

Dr. Meenakshi Rajan Memorial Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be applying to the Humanity course.
  • The candidate may be limited to other need-based scholarships & loans.
  • The candidate must have scored first class in the previous academic year.
  • Humanities Scholarships will be awarded based on previous academic grades and need.

Bharti Nanji Gala Memorial Scholarship

The Bharti Nanji Gala Memorial Scholarship is offered to students by the alumni of the institution, Mr. Dhiren Savla (an Alumni of KJ Somaiya College of Science and Commerce) and his sister Priti Shah (an Alumni of KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce). Mr Dhiren Savla is today a Global CIO for a multinational firm and Priti Shah is currently serving as a lawyer in Mumbai High Court. 

Students should have a list of valid documents including their academic records, identification cards,  bank statements and so on. The application of the students without the relevant documents will not be considered. The eligibility criteria required to apply for this scholarship are listed below.

Bharti Nanji Gala Memorial Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should be a female student of Somaiya Vidyavihar/Ayurvihar.
  • Candidate May be attending any diploma, full time or part-time course.
  • Candidate should have scored first class in all previous academic years.
  • Annual Household income of INR 3,00,000 or less.

Smt. Nirmala Raychand Savla Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2014 by Mr Dhiren Savla in memory of his mother, Smt. Nirmala Raychand Savla Memorial Scholarship. Students should have all the valid documents including a donation request letter, and identity proof in the form of a ration or Aadhaar card as documents. Students who fail to provide the pre-requested documents will not be considered eligible for the scholarship selection process. The list of eligibility criteria required for the scholarship to be granted is been provided below.

Smt. Nirmala Raychand Savla Memorial Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should be a female student of Somaiya Vidyavihar/Ayurvihar.
  • Candidate May be attending any diploma, full time or part-time course.
  • Candidate should have scored first class in all previous academic years.
  • Annual Household income of INR 3,00,000 or less.

Smt. Sakarbai K Somaiya Memorial Scholarship

Smt. The Sakarbai K Somaiya Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students who lack stable financial support to complete their education. Priority will be given to candidates with a marked socio-economic disadvantage. Once the scholarship is awarded it will continue till the end of the course.

Smt. Sakarbai K Somaiya Memorial Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must demonstrate proven financial need and be able to provide evidence of their financial accounts.
  • Candidates must be asked to submit additional documents during the application or interview process.
  • The candidate should be a student of Somaiya Vidyavihar / Ayurvihar and could have limited access to other need-based scholarships & loans.

Smt. Mayadevi S Somaiya Memorial Scholarship

The Somaiya need-based scholarship is a program that sponsors students who lack financial support to complete their education and have no access to other government scholarships & loans. Priority will be given to candidates with a marked socio-economic disadvantage.

  • Candidate must demonstrate proven financial need and be able to provide evidence of their financial accounts.
  • Candidates must be asked to submit additional documents during the application or interview process.
  • The candidate should be a student of Somaiya Vidyavihar / Ayurvihar and could have limited access to other need-based scholarships & loans.

Shri Raychand Karamshi Savla Memorial Scholarship

The objective of this scholarship is to help out students who have faced a sudden economic, or financial loss due to a death in the family or loss of a job, etc. This could apply to any student across our campuses at any point during their course.

Shri Raychand Karamshi Savla Memorial Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 

  • The family income of the students should be INR 3,00,000 or less.
  • Students can be from any institute, course or campus.
  • Students must have scored 80% in their previous examination.
