The M.Sc. (Integrated) Climate Change Adaptation Program was started during 2010 and is offered at ACCER, Main campus, Thrissur. This course envisaged to be of high standard, conducted in multi institutional mode, making use of the manpower and facilities of various reputed institutions in the relevant field. Minimum eligibility to get admission in Kerala Agricultural University, Thrissur is to clear 12th (with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics) examination or equivalent with 60% marks in aggregate for general category and 50% marks for SC/ST. There will be an entrance exam conducted by kerala agriculture university seperately for this course. The admission will be based on ranking in the above exam.
Placements & Internships :
To provide quality learning and research in the field of climate change adaptation and mitigation, Kerala Agricultural University has MoU with CUSAT, ICRISAT, KFRI, KVASU and the University of Western Australia, some of the prominent institutes at the national and the international level. The college maintains a Class B Agro met Observatory to record various weather parameters, an Automatic Weather Station established by the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) to have a deeper understanding of the environment and present weather patterns. The educational system followed in the college enables the students to achieve academic success as well as develop interpersonal skills. All students in the first batch had been placed in different institutes and university itself and some have gone for their P.hd works.
Fees & Scholarships :
Course fee in Kerala Agricultural University is 50,000 per semester. Loans are provided by banks like SBT, SBI etc. Scholorship option are not available
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
Kerala Agricultural University has a separate hostel block for men and women students with capacity of 30 and 50 respectively. The hostels are headed by the warden assisted by assistant warden and resident tutors. The college hostel for boys is extended to 3000 square feet and it provides enormous facilities.

College is fully equipped with efficient laboratory. Labs like soil lab and biochemistry lab is situated within the college campus. Also, students can use new technology laboratories of other colleges of KAU.
Clubs & Associations :
Kerala Agricultural University have clubs and societies like students union, nature club, debate club, sports club and also all india study tour during the course. College offers an All India Tour for the students during the 7th semester which is a part of the 5 year educational program. Most of the ICAR institutions are visited during the tour which lasts for 21 days. Students get a chance of close observation on the works and researches in these institutions that may help them to select the research institutes and apply for their projects during the 8th semester. This tour serves as a great experience, exposure and a pleasure trip for the students.
