Computer Lab
The Institute Software Lab provides student's state of art range of software development environment. development environment. The lab is equipped with cutting edges software technologies which provides students a unique opportunity to pursue development of software projects that range from networking system intensive, internet & RDBMS based applications. The software lab provides different operating system environment Win 2003 server, Win NT, Unix and Linux based client server applications to work with the development environment are powered by Microsoft Visual Studio .Net platforms etc. the lab database server is powered by Microsoft back office products such as Win NT & SQL Servers. The Institute Web Server & Email Server are also stationed there. The lab is equipped with HP and IBM branded Pentium IV 2.4 Ghz., Intel 845 M/B machines. The machines in the Computer lab are provided 1:2 for Undergraduate courses & 1:1 for Post Graduation students. All the machines are on LAN and powered by IBM & HP powerful Servers.
Library
Stocking a rich collection of over 2,700 select learning resources in the discipline of Management, Computer Science and related areas, in a variety of formats and operating from a spacious, basement located, air-conditioned building, build-in furniture & fittings, managed by a highly dedicated team of professionals. The library have adequate no. of title and their multiple copies to cater the need of the clientele. A separate reference section has been earmarked, having rich collection including Dictionaries, Encyclopedia's, generals and specials, handbooks, directories, yearbooks and other reference sources.
The Library collection has been classified according to Dewey Decimal Classification DDC 21st edition. The card catalogue have been prepared according to Anglo American Cataloguing Rules, part II, AACR-II, fulfilling author, title and subject approach of the users. The main reading room was recently in progress to facilitate the addition of computer clusters enabling immediate electronic access to the Internet and to full text databases.
The book stacks allow easy access to 2650 volumes of books and periodicals that make up the library collection. The collection is specifically based on the current courses taught at CT Institute of Management and Information Technology. The Library is subscribing to 38 Journals/Periodicals (08 International, 10 Computers, 15 Management, 05 Generals). The Library acquiring 13 Newspapers to acquaint its user of daily happening in and around the world.
