Entrance Exams & Admissions :
To get admission in KLE Law college one should have either more than 45% in 10+2 (any stream) but one can get direct admission if the 10+2 marks are more than 75%. Also, the admission is based upon LSAT by Pearson. More than 80 percentile gets through the college. I got admission through my +2 board marks. The college provides both integrated and post graduation courses ( 5yr BBA LLB, 5yr BA LLB, 3yr LLB). The faculty is good and experienced and also, the college has signed an MOU with NLSIU, Bangalore, the top law college in India and hence, the students of KLE are eligible to access the library of NLSIU and also we have certain guest lectures from NLSIU professors. The campus is not really large but the new campus has started in the year 2016 itself and has a good building but not a large campus as such. Overall it's a good college if students do not get into any NLU.
Placements & Internships :
I have had my internship at A.N Modi and associates in Valsad, Gujarat where I learned about income tax and GST. The college does provide students with internships on demand. The placement was not that great but it is improving the rating of the college is also increasing. This time many corporate firms, banks, and legal firms came for placement.
Academics & Faculty :
The daily routine for 1st and 2nd-year students are 9 am - 1:30 pm whereas for 3rd to 5th-year students are 9 am - 2:30 pm. Also, the extra activities are conducted after classes. Quality of teaching is average. Some teachers are really well experienced while some are average. The method of teaching is modern as we have the projectors with presentation teaching as well.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
There are 2 law college hostels which are near the college. One for girls and one for boys but the accommodation facilities are not too much so the students also live near the old campus hostel and the Dental college hostel where the bus facilities are available. Hostel fees are INR 50,000p.a plus the mess expenses are Rs. 50,000 per year. The college has a canteen where good food is available at reasonable price. Classrooms are good and spacious with projectors and screens while the library is also good with many books and law journals and computers.
Clubs & Associations :
There are few student societies such as Green Lawyers Club, Mentor Cell, ABVP etc. The college conducts activities like moot courts, law fests, conference and intra-college activities.
