Eligibility Criteria at Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University:

Course	Eligibility Criteria
BA	Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination in any stream and those who have passed relevant BPP from KKHSOU are eligible to take admission in BA programme.
	Candidates who have passed BPP from IGNOU or any other open university will be eligible take admission,
	Candidates must pass the programme specific courses of BPP of this university for which they will have to take admission into BPP simultaneously.
B.Com	Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination in any stream and those who have passed relevant Bachelor Preparatory Programme(BPP) from KKHSOU are eligible to take admission in BA programme.
	Candidates who have passed BPP from IGNOU or any other open university will be eligible take admission,
	Candidates must pass the programme specific courses of BPP of this university for which they will have to take admission into BPP simultaneously.
BCA	Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics among other subjects.
	Candidates who have passed the relevant BPP of this University.
	Candidates who have passed from Polytechnics in the subject of interest.
	Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary in Arts and Commerce, Financial Market Mechanism (FMM) under CBSE, vocational stream with the required subject will have to successfully complete the Papers 4, 5 & 6 of streams 3 only of BPP course.
MA
	Candidates having B.Ed degree are eligible to get admission in MA Education.
	Candidates not having a subject in their Bachelor's Programme but desirous of pursuing Master's Degree in that subject may be allowed to take admission with the condition that they clear the core courses of the subject in 1st and 2nd Semesters of Bachelor’s Degree.
M.Sc
	Candidates must have Mathematics or Computer Science at 10+2 level.
	Candidates who do not have Mathematics/Computer Science at 10+2 level shall have to clear the Papers IV, V & VI (First year) of Stream 3 of (BPP) within four semesters of MCA.
	Candidates will be eligible to receive mark sheets/certificate of the semesters completed only after successful completion.

Admission Procedure at Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University:

Admission for the candidates shall be through the designated Study Centres only, spread all over the state.
Candidates must pay course fee through the Bank Challan attached with the Prospectus, at any branch of State Bank of India.
Candidates are required to submit the application along with necessary enclosures and a copy of the challan returned by the Bank after payment along with the course fee within due date.
A summarised table indicating the eligibility criteria for admission into the various academic programmes offered by the University along with the relevant documents necessary to be submitted along with the application form. The Study Centre will scrutinise the application forms as per the norms and qualifications required for each programme.
Candidates who are eligible will be provisionally admitted to the Study Centre after scrutiny.
All the enrolled learners will be provided with the registration number, programme guidelines and identity cards.
Candidates who are unable to complete the programme within the specified period will be required to register themselves afresh by paying the requisite fee as per the University regulations.
