- The centre hosts enterprise applications, the eLearning portal, websites, and various other services.
- The entire campus has been unwired using a two-layer secure wireless architecture- core and access network.
- It allows users to access the network from anywhere on campus, both indoors & outdoors and provides seamless connectivity across the entire campus.
- The Wi-Fi mesh network provides wireless broadband internet services, branded as I-ON, to approximately 10,000 students using Motorola canopy equipment (access points and subscriber modules).
Simulation Centre
- The simulation centre is a novel concept in the field of medical education.
- Like a flight simulator for airline pilots, a medical simulator assesses a health care professional's ability to handle real-life medical emergencies.
- It teaches healthcare students how to manage real-life emergencies using training manikins.
- More than 100 training manikins are available at the centre, ranging from simple task trainers to the most complex, interactive, computer-based training units.
- These are used to educate undergraduate and postgraduate students in the health sciences, such as medicine, dentistry, nursing, and allied health.
Library
- MSAP library is spread over 1.5 lakh square feet and has five levels.
- It is a haven for information seekers, whether students, faculty, or researchers.
- The library has a capacity of 1300 students at any given time.
- Apart from comfortable seating and reading areas, the MSAP library is well-equipped with modern internet access and web resources, including online journals and e-books.
- The library offers an expanding selection of online databases.
